EYES

I am pretty obsessed. The instant alpha wand has been put to use more than I'd like to admit.

I did this one in parts trying to keep some detail. I can still see some of the color, but who cares.

It helps me kill time.

Jackson and I

Last Sat. I had the pleasure of babysitting Jackson. My coworker's redheaded big boy was not exactly a hands full, but he wasn't exactly quiet either.

He was so bouncy! He's sort of just picking up on crawling and standing up, so whenever I sat him on my leg he would start bouncing, trying to stand up, trying to get down - which was no problem until he ended up flat on his belly unable to move. Then the crying started, but rapidly left after I'd pick him up and started bouncing him again.

He was so adorable. I'd babysit him again anytime!

He was sleepy right after, my friend dropped him off. But he was fighting it so hard. He rubbed his eyes and rested back on my chest occasionally, but would startle himself up soon after.

And then he finally passed out. I watched him sleep for a while. The best part was when he would rub his nose and eyes and would move just a little to both sides before going back to sleep.

Pinups Before and After

I have always loved pinups. The playfulness meets sexy or sexy meets playfulness (can't decide) has always been a favorite of mine.

When I found these, I couldn't help but to admire the artist. The initial photograph was not only transformed to meet the desire angle, color, size, etc., but it brought out its life. It was no longer just a picture of a pretty girl, but art.

Tiffany's Ad

I saw this Tiffany's ad a while back and couldn't stop thinking how beautiful this wedding dress is. The full back is enough to highlight its beauty.

I really wish I could see the front.

Lighthouse

Here's my last official assignment for my basic illustration class. It was actually two lighthouses, but the second one was not nearly as good.

I never thought color pencils could be kind of effective. I am glad I was pushed to work with them, otherwise I would have no idea of what they could do. And since I'm tired of working with dry materials I'm thinking about watercolor classes or maybe just messing around at home. Either way, I'm ready to mess things up.

I have to admit it makes me really sad the class is over. Of course, I've already found the classes I'll be taking next, but it's so hard to let go of what I had. Besides, my teacher was amazing, and unfortunately, he lives three hours away so taking another class by him is highly unlikely.

I'm also sad I'll be taking the summer off, but I kind of need it. I have plenty of self-improvement projects in the works, so I'll be busy anyway.

We'll see what the next drawing brings.

Crisp White

Today's morning was pretty hectic: woke up early, went to work, and ran around for two hours before I could sit down.

By the time I got home, I took these pictures thinking of nothing but wanting to take a nap. And it was a shame really, because the day was so beautiful (completely unlike last weekend with its rain and gloomy skies).

Wearing Calvin Klein dress and shoes.

This picture reminds me of the typical high school senior pictures. So cheesy.
