To Kansas and back in less than 24 hours

Last, last weekend, I found myself leaving my house at 4am to what would be the shortest road trip ever.

The road trip whose ultimate purpose was to pick someone up led me through Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kansas all in less than 24 hours. It was a pain.

But while jamming out to classics ("I Believe In A Thing Called Love" by The Darkness, "Yeah" by Outkast, "All the Things I've done" by the Killers, among many many others) I snapped as many things as possible.

Here's what made the cut. (Using a point-and-shoot in a car going 75 mph on average is extremely hard to do.)

Oh and above, yep, that's buffalo!

Our first casino of the day.

I believe this could have been a WW2 vehicle.

A lot of people bash on Texas for being flat, but we aren't the only ones. Plenty of nothing all along the highway.

Nope, I was not the driver. My dear brother did all the driving.

There's a hidden message in this picture ;)

Have I ever mentioned I go crazy for cattle? On our way there we saw plenty, and I couldn't get enough.

Home sweet home!!

We saw many "Welcome to ..." signs.

I needed a lot of stretching after I got out of the car! And the next day at work was horrible! Sitting in a chair for 8 hrs had never been so awful.
