Michael Kors

When I saw these Michel Kors boots, I fell in love with them.

I've been wearing them non-stop.

They're half a size too big so it's challenging to wear them, but I don't care. They're awesome.

“ You need kissing, badly. That’s what’s wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how. "
— Rhett Butler

When I first heard the idea behind this Kissez, I was a little indifferent. I figured looking at couples kissing was romantic, but not enough to draw me to see it every day. But I was wrong.

Some of the images are more common than others, and some are so special you can't help but stare. However, I think my personal attraction lies on my internal liking for plain making out. The kind that leads you to just enjoy the moment without worrying to where it's going to lead. But the destination is part of the trick. Making out is much more intimate but has its sparks with the promise of what's to come or not, no one's in a rush.

As Roger Ebert says:

"[Making out] Hell, it was never necessary to begin with. It was fun, most especially between two people who enjoyed playing together. I believe that many of us have a strong, if not fully articulated, desire for extended periods of making out. No, I am not referring to "foreplay." Making out need not be "fore" anything. It is its own reward. Some of the truest words I've ever written are:

It is more erotic to wonder if you're about to be kissed than it is to be kissed."

And I completely agree with that. Making out is much more than just rolling around a bed counting the minutes till both bodies are naked and ready to go. Making out is where intimacy was born.

Recipe for Disaster

I am 25 yrs old and I just started to learn how to cook. Yes, I have cooked before - very, very limited recipes and many, many years ago. Until now I have depended on others to provide me with my daily meals.

However, I decided that I might need to learn how to cook, - I'm sure it will come in handy.

So just a couple of days ago, my mom made me cook a simple recipe. Eggs, potatoes, oil, -that sort of thing. (Mexican brunch/dinner meal).

So although I might not have cooked a very rigorous meal, I managed to get my feet wet. And I have to admit it was way easier than I thought. - I have previously been very intimidated by cooking and anything Kitchen related.

I hope I start learning to do more complicated stuff, but first, I'm taking baby steps. lol

Lover's Eve

I couldn't help falling in love with this tree. Although it's hard to see it, it was covered with snow.

The pictures below are from the night before where the unprecedented snow hit Texas as hard as I had ever seen. It was definitely unexpected and completely amazing. I would really like for it to happen more often.

And then back to normality.

Red Soles

I just found this picture on The Sartorialist, and I couldn't help thinking "that would probably be me." In high heels, in the snow.

- at least if the snow turned into an everyday affair and staying at home to take the occasional day off was not an option.

Texas' Winter Wonderland

Given the snow/blizzard crisis that's hit the entire top-half of the country, it didn't surprise me when I woke up today to find my entire neighborhood hidden under inches of snow.

I ended up going to work only for two hours, which was not bad, but the drive was hideous! (I hate driving, and inclement weather is twice as bad).

Coco just had surgery so I didn't let her go outside to take pics, but hopefully she'll be better soon.

Golden Lion

I happen to be in love with this Anne Klein for Oroton belt. It's got a beautiful lion head on the golden buckle.

Love's Mask

For a some time now, I've been a reader of Igor + Andre and I can't get enough. His paintings, drawings, just inspiration in general, are amazing.

I had to put this picture up in honor of Valentine's.

I hate the holiday, but the spirit that it's supposed to convey it's always a nice idea.

Love is priceless.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt

I've had a small crush (ok! maybe a big one) on Joseph Gordon-Levitt ever since he learned French to earn Bianca's love in "10 Things I have about you." And he reclaimed his status when I saw him in "500 Days of Summer."

So when I saw this photo schoot I was in love! Can't get over his puppy eyes and smile, but his typically goofy/innocent look takes a whole new turn when he's got Claudia - half naked - sitting on his lap.
